We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated and experienced HR Administrator to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities-:
- Act as a first point of contact for general employee inquiries.
- Takes care of administrative items associated with employee transactions – preparing draft offer letters, initiate background and reference checks, administer leaves of absence, process new hire details into HRIS and payroll, submits offboarding requests, and other HR information updates as needed.
- Coordinates with new employees and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding/offboarding process and positive employee experience.
- Prepares and/or proofs documents, letters, employee communications and internal announcements.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes and terminations.
- Assist accounting with payroll, and handling discrepancies
- Revise company policies from time to time to align with ESA and current market trends.
- Ensure best practices are followed by staying current with labor/ employment legislation and HR industry developments. Drive health/safety best practices.
- Coordinating with different departments including truck sales, finance team etc
- Provides support to ongoing and new HR projects/initiatives as needed.
- Compile data and prepare various reports, such as attrition reports, work hour summaries.
Requirements:
- Experience in Human Resources and Payroll would be considered as an asset
- Post-secondary education with focus on Human Resources or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce, Workday, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate Excel skills
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) would be considered as an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
