** Must have experience with Citrix.**
** Nice to have VMware experience.**
Responsibilities:
- Implement, manage, and maintain all aspects of our IT Infrastructure including Server Hardware, Software, Business Applications, Infrastructure Services, etc.
- Hands on experience on HPE ProLiant, MSA Storage, Server hardware, firmware upgrades, etc.
- Hands on experience of administration and management of Windows Server environment, Active Directory Domain Services, Windows Defender Firewall, Operating system hardening
- Extensive knowledge in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop technologies
- Experience administering Citrix Virtual Apps 7 farms (including Netscalers, Delivery Controllers, and Storefronts), create relevant AD policies for Citrix environment, Maintain and update master images for Citrix Desktops
- Must have hands on experience in configuring, managing Application Delivery Controllers (Kemp VLM, NetScaler, etc.)
- Create & Maintain current images for deployment of user workstations and servers Maintain current templates for virtual servers / machines
- Manage the monitoring the Citrix environment using Desktop Director and Citrix Console, App Security, App Assignment (User, Group, OUs), Understanding Citrix Printing Concepts
- Monitor the health of the entire Citrix Virtual Infrastructure; proactively fix potential issues, session management, application performance issues
- Manage licensing of Business applications published through Citrix
- Windows/Citrix patch administration and deployment Planning and implementing fixes, independently generates solutions based on analytical, technical skills and business knowledge
- Monitors and evaluates operating efficiency, analyzes hardware/software performance and tuning
- Ability to work well within a team and simultaneously use one’s own initiative
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- .Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including a willingness to support any project with which IT is involved and including support of development process
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, etc.
- Flexible for working shift hours and on call support
Requirements:
- 6+ Years of experience in managing Enterprise level systems supporting 100+ servers
- Bachelor's or above degree from an accredited college/university
- Citrix Virtual Apps 7
- Windows Server 2012-2019 support
- Active Directory/Group Policy Administration, WDS, Print/File Server Management
- Manage Veeam Backup & Replication Solution. Monitor & troubleshoot onsite/offsite backups
- VMware & Hyper-V support (mainly VMware)
- Patch management (WSUS, SCCM, etc.)
- Preferred certification: Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V), MCSA
- Good to have VMware experience
Education/Certifications:
- Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE – V) or minimum Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP – V)
