We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Laredo office.
Responsibilities:
- Execute strategies within accounts to maximize efficiency, eliminate risks and cut costs for increased growth and profitability
- Exceed customer expectations daily by creatively solving problems, offering valuable insight and proactively managing client pain points
- Work quickly and effectively to resolve problems that may develop on a freight shipment
- Advise clients on industry trends that will impact their business by conducting market research and analyzing client specific data
- Establish plans to secure our presence focusing in the central part of the country such as Mexico City, State of Mexico, Queretaro
- Developing a new base of customers looking to cover their transportation needs regarding the import and export activities between Mexico- Usa and Canada
- Pro-actively provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions and technical assistance to clients
- Coordinate prospect, sales and current customer meetings working closely with VP of Sales/CS
Requirements:
- College or university degree in a Marketing or Business-related field is required
- Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset
- 5-8 years of experience selling Assets, FTL and Climate freight is an asset
- Strong business knowledge of North American transportation modes and customers
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment
