We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated based out of our Laredo, TX office.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop an equipment management plan to ensure all assigned equipment is inspected within timelines.
- Provides a clear explanation of the estimate cost to the carriers, answers all questions and processes the claim
- Collaborates with internal teams (Canadian and Mexican) to prepare the damage report
- Investigate and evaluate cause and extent of damage to equipment involved in accidents
- Evaluate elements of the breakdown, extent of damage, invoice review, and cause of loss
- Prepare and review the Cross-Dock Report
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the transportation industry is required
- Extensive knowledge of North American geography
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
- Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in Damage Control role is an asset
- Experience working with Fleet Manager is considered an asset
