We are currently looking to add a motivated individual that is able to work in a fast-paced environment to join as a Gas Station Supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of shift manager as outlined in the job descriptions.
- Leading and execute all the programing and preparation work needed to open the stations (dealing w. appropriate governmental bodies, suppliers, etc)
- Assists with planning of special events and promotions.
- Perform cash register functions and other related activities.
- Service customers at the Point of Sale with the cash, card payments, issue receipts, refunds and/or tickets.
- Educate customers about ongoing promotions and sales.
- Manage area, repair costs to ensure work orders are being completed in an efficient manner.
- Conduct quality inspections of equipment to ensure all government rules and regulations are adhered to and all required paperwork is completed.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the department by ensuring all facilities and equipment are maintained in proper working order and all maintenance concerns are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Work with a positive and professional attitude and communicate effectively and efficiently with customers.
- Travel to different company terminals might be required.
- Greeting customers and maintain store cleanliness while meeting hygiene standards.
- Checking deliveries, pricing merchandise & restocking the store as per the needs.
- Conduct opening and closing shift functions.
- Helping answer customer questions.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Strong computer skills, with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ministry regulations, the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Candidate should be punctual, good with basic math, able to multitask, can work in a fast-paced environment, and can provide foremost customer service. And works well under crisis.
- Requires excellent communication skills ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.
- Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday
