We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
The person hired will be part of a small team of financial analysts and will be our data analytics and Tableau subject matter expert. This new resource will help us to better organize and manage our finance-related data. Not only must this person have the technical Tableau knowledge, but must also be able to draw insight from the data and communicate the insights from a business perspective using Tableau dashboards, written reports, and/or live presentations
Responsibilities-:
- Designing and developing reports and dashboards (60%) for informational/operational needs according to best practice
- Work with the IT department to manage the Finance Data on Microsoft SQL Server and analyze that data primarily using Tableau software
- Prepare written reports and slide decks regarding business performance and presenting this information to senior management.
- Develop financial data and analysis to support key business decision making activity.
- Monitor and analyze financial results to identify key trends and provide insight to senior management in a timely manner
- Analyze data for monthly and annual reporting, including revenue-cycle analysis for billings and collections and analysis of timekeeper productivity trends
- Developing financial models to measure and report on key performance indicators and support key inputs in the annual budget
Requirements
- Must have experience with Tableau + Financial analysis
- Proven experience designing, developing, maintaining, and building dashboards using Tableau 10.5.
- Proven experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Background in programming and being able to read code (Java/ .Net/ Python)
- Proficiency in Excel, data cleaning and data validation
- Knowledge of Data Visualization and "DataStory Telling" best practices
- Extensive experience with RDBMS, querying databases using SQL
