We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
As an Account Manager, your primary objective is to achieve organic margin and revenue growth from an esteemed portfolio of clients, while leading the tactical execution of the transportation industry’s most unique and innovative client experience. You will oversee every aspect of your clients’ experience— everything from the fulfillment of a shipment to the long-term success of the partnership as well as prospect and on-board quality carriers to handle our growing volume of shipments
Responsibilities:
- Service driven execution and performance against partner KPIs with corrective actions when metrics are not met
- Design and implement set strategies in order to hit desired gross profitability and volume goals
- Ownership of process development to improve operational efficiency
- Dynamic knowledge and utilization of data to navigate capacity supply and demand
- Effectively communicate a strategy for large pricing events to produce YoY growth of internal metrics including Volume, Revenue, and GP
- Leverage analytics and market intelligence to design strategic solutions and help customers solve their supply chain challenges
- Assist and organize capacity procurement and negotiations for brokered shipments
- Spearhead active communication to gain understanding on carrier needs and opportunities to align with carrier partners
- Build and grow relations within portfolio through face-to-face engagement and proactive communication
- Deep understanding of Charger’s value-add service offering and ability to cross-sell services across customer departments
- Ability to identify customer pain points and propose results-oriented solutions.
Requirements:
What we’re looking for:-
- 2-4 years minimum of professional Logistics and Transportation experience.
- Profound understanding of various supply chain solutions and service offerings.
- Knowledge of industry terminology, market trends, and best practices of inside sales and customer service
- Demonstrated client-facing management experience
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and bold attitude paired with a confident personality
- Extremely analytical and superior problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously
- Firm belief in the power of automation and keen interest in implementing technology
- An active learner with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work across company departments and motivate others.
